MORE ABOUT ME
I am informed by nearly 20 years of land-based facilitation and healing work with diverse groups throughout Turtle Island (so-called North America). I am constantly amazed by the depth of healing experienced by people from spending intentional time together in nature. My journey has been deeply impacted by all my teachers, human and more-than-human. I have been humbled to have learned and worked with peoples of diverse cultures and backgrounds throughout the world.
I am blessed to be guided by the love of my ancestors and spirit. I feed my soul by singing, dancing, and swimming freely with all the wild beings who share this magnificent Earth. As a queer, cis-female settler of mostly Celtic and Slavic ancestry, I am grateful to reside in the unceded lands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən, W̱SÁNEĆ, and neighbouring Indigenous Peoples. I am dedicated to supporting a process of decolonization in all its shapes and forms.
My education and background includes but is not limited to:
BA in Indigenous Studies (UBC-Okanagan) where I learned the importance of connecting with the land, spirit, and ancestors
BEd in Outdoor, Experiential Education (Lakehead University) where I found the utter joy and healing power in deep immersion with nature
MA in Environmental Education (Royal Roads University) where I embarked on my journey of initiation and began to find my soul gifts
Ceremony and Rites of Passage Training (Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute and Nature Knows) where I deepened my skills in holding sacred space and supporting others in marking times of transition
Numerous courses with organizations including the Animas Valley Institute, Sacred Grief-Shauna Janz, Red Moon Mystery School, and Music School of Life where I came to see that the most profound learning happens through the journey of life itself
Much love and wild blessings
