About the event

Join us in sacred space to honour the Turning of the Wheel to the beginning of spring.

Imbolc symbolizes the halfway point between the Winter Solstice (Yule) and the Spring Equinox (Ostara). The word Imbolc means "in the belly of the mother," because the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth.

Ostara is the Spring Equinox when there are equal hours of day and night. Ostara is the lunar goddess of fertility and this time marks the height of spring when life has begun to returning to the land.

Join us in sacred space to honour the Turning of the Wheel to the beginning of summer.

Beltane symbolizes the halfway point between the Spring Equinox (Ostara) and the Summer Solstice. Beltane means "bright fire" and marks the time when the veil is thinnest between this world and the otherworld; a time when magic is possible.

ALL EVENTS

During the gatherings, we will come together as our ancestors have done for thousands of years. Our time will involve a sacred fire, music/song, ritual, and discussion. We will close with warm drinks and food.

Please bring: an item for the shared altar, camp chair, blanket, drum or rattle (if you have one), portable mug, plate, cutlery, and weather-appropriate clothing as we will be gathering outside. We look forward to seeing you there!

1:00 - Arriving and lighting the fire

1:30 - Opening the circle

3:30 - Closing the circle

4:00 - Shared food and drinks

*Plan to attend the full duration of the circle (1:30-3:30pm) as we will be entering into sacred space together. Thank you.

Contribution & Registration

Here are the payment options:

Option 1) Single Event: $50-60 sliding scale (Select an amount that reflects your current financial capacity)

Option 2) Three Events: $120

Payment can be made by: cash, e-transfer (innercadence@gmail.com), or PayPal (@innercadence). Include your name, email address, and the words "Imbolc", "Ostara", "Beltane" or "Wheel of the Year" with your payment.

*No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please reach out if the cost is a barrier.
