Creating a Culture of Care
As folks who care deeply about creating a better world, we have a tendency to push ourselves. We feel we have to constantly fight against those in power to make meaningful change. We often lose sight of the importance of taking care of ourselves.

What if the ways we care for ourselves and each other are a reflection of how we show up in service to the world? What would it mean for us to actually embody the changes we're trying to create?

By creating a culture of care, we actively disrupt the unrealistic expectations placed on us by dominant culture and reclaim a sense of sovereignty over our lives. Together, we bring forth a healthy way of showing up in service to building a world we can be proud to pass on to those yet to come.
What is this?
In these times of increasing uncertainty, separation, and polarization, we need to remember that we are connected to one another, to return to the sense of the village to hold each other and come together to build resilience.

I’m here to tend the healing village, a place where you can come to receive the care you need with others who get it and are also going through it. This is an opportunity to be part of a collective care process where you can feel seen, heard, and supported by others.
We will begin by bearing sacred witness for each person to share fully from their heart about what they're going through. Through a series of invitations, practices, and whole lot more sharing and witnessing, we will work towards helping you feel more resourced and clear about your unique role in service to the world.

Some of the ways you will receive support include: Body/Mind Care (nervous system support), Spirit Care (resourcing with nature, guides, and ancestors), Heart Care (leaning into grief and praise), and Soul Care (reclaiming sacred purpose).

We will conclude with opportunities for integrating the work we've done together in your life, work, and community so you can continue showing up to create meaningful change for a better world.
This is for you if:
-
You are wholeheartedly dedicated to creating a better world.
-
You’re feeling overwhelmed and burned out from doing the good work.
-
You want to keep showing up in service but need support and care.
-
You long for greater resilience and capacity in your work and personal life.
-
You wish to engage in a group process with others who get it and are also going through it.
This is for you if you are a changemaker who wants to feel resourced and resilient so you can keep showing up in service to the world.
How does it work?
The Three-Month Program includes:
~ Six three-hour long group sessions/community calls (2/month)
~ Invitations & practices for ongoing care
~ Private discussion group to connect with others
~ Access to Monthly Community Council

Here is the flow of our time together:
-
First Session: Sacred Witnessing - We hold space for one another to share whatever is going on for you. This is an opportunity to feel seen & heard in all your messiness; a sacred container for you to cry and laugh, to divulge your deepest longings, to be met and received exactly as you are.
-
Second Session: Body/Mind Care - We begin with nervous system support to calm your body and quiet your mind. This allows you to slow down, rest, and begin to listen to your body's inherent wisdom for healing.
-
Third Session: Spirit Care - Then, we move onto resourcing with with the healing power of nature, spirit, and ancestors to help you reclaim a sense of connection with that which is greater than yourself.
-
Fourth Session: Heart Care - Once you start to feel more resourced and supported, we'll lean into matters of the heart, holding space for you to feel the depths of your grief and your greatest joys so you can allow the emotions to flow freely rather than getting stuck in your body.
-
Fifth Session: Soul Care - One of the greatest causes of burnout is doing something you're not passionate about but feel you should do. In this session, we will explore different roles in creating change to help you get clear on your unique purpose in service to the world.
-
Sixth Session: Integration - We will close with specific tools to help you continue to feel resourced as you re-engage in your work of sacred service. We will also explore ongoing practices you can implement in your life, work, and community to create a healthy culture of care.
My name is Cadence Moffat McCann (she/her). I'm a heart-led facilitator, healing practitioner, and aspiring crone. I am driven by my dedication to social and ecological justice, decolonization, and cultural regeneration.

After working tirelessly to try to save the world for 15 years, I experienced complete burnout. I didn’t have the care or support I needed. It was one of the hardest times of my life. As I now stand on the other side, I am dedicated to providing care to help folks like you feel resourced and resilient so you can keep showing up in service to the world.

My work is guided by my studies and experience in Deep Nature Connection, Grief Tending, Somatic Therapy, Animism, Rites of Passage, Ecopsychology, Indigenous Solidarity, Ancestral Healing, and Ritual Practice.
“Cadence is a brilliant facilitator and space holder. She offers a beautiful mix of structure and fluidity, supporting those in her circle to feel strongly held and fully alive. Most of all, her integrity and caring heart are always shining through. A highly recommended experience!”
